Trips to Venice, Bozen, Meran

Bozen is just 20 kilometres from MONDI-HOLIDAY HOTEL Tirolensis in Tisens. The South Tyrol capital city has a Mediterranean flair to it, especially the historic centre with its markets and lanes; here you have a real taste of Italy. The relatively young university lends the city an up-beat feeling. Venice is approximately 290 kilometres from the Tirolensis hotel. One thing is certain: if there's one trip which is worth making, then this is it. Especially if you do not often visit northern Italy, you shouldn't miss out on this opportunity. Countless splendid palaces such as the Doge's Palace stand cheek by jowl with ornate churches such as St. Mark's; quaint lanes nestled between the houses of the historic centre and gondolas bob on the water of the canals. This pomp and splendour draws millions of visitors to Venice each year, the prices are corresponingly exorbitant.
