The Meran high level trail, for example, is a great route for experienced hikers, and to enjoy the whole stretch, you will need to calculate a few days of hiking. There are plenty of shorter options of this route, and the staff at the Tirolensis Hotel will be happy to advise you about shorter day routes. 
 

The so-called "Waalwege" are especially popular; they lead along the old streams up to the summits at 3000 metres altitude. Choose between easier, gentle routes and challenging tours; ask at the reception for information about which route is best for you and your family. After a hard day's hiking you can enjoy using the hotel amenities, such as sauna, outdoor pool, or indoor pool to relax and recharge your batteries.
